Yolandie has a background in nursing and holds a Masters in Health Science, summa cum laude, and a Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Anthropology from the University of KwaZulu Natal. She is currently registered for a PhD in Public Health at the University of KwaZulu Natal. Her area of interest is in Medical Anthropology and Health Care Systems focusing on access and adherence to HIV treatment and prevention programs.”
