On the 23rd of August 2018, MatCH Research Unit (MRU) attended Life Line’s 48th Annual General (AGM) meeting which took place at the Rugby Stadium. MRU has a long-standing collaborative relationship with Life Line working with implementing Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) interventions for female sex workers (FSW). The aim of the meeting was to discuss Life Line’s yearly progress as an organisation. Core issues discussed included reports from the Director, the Chairperson and the election of a new board took place. The meeting was sealed with a thought provoking presentation by a guest speaker Snr State Adv. Omashani Naidoo who is prominent in advocacy issues around Sexual and Gender based Violence (SGBV).
